Orbital Miners Guild

The Fringe chapter of the guild of miners specializing in asteroid and other forms of EVA mining. With roots back into the late Chanko era, membership to the Orbital Miners Guild is difficult to acquire without the correct lineage. The rampant counterfeiting of accreditation by work-seekers after the Freight Wars has led to guild status becoming effectively meaningless in most parts of The Fringe.
